Refund & Cancellation Policy

PariTales is a subscription service. This policy explains how billing, cancellations, and refunds work. We aim to be fair and clear — no surprises, no dark patterns.
Subscriptions & billing
- Paid plans (Plus and Family) are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.
- Web subscriptions are processed by our payment partner, Dodo Payments, who acts as the merchant of record. Mobile subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google.
- The Free plan is genuinely free — no card required, no automatic upgrade.
Cancelling
- You can cancel at any time from your account settings (web) or via your Apple/Google subscription settings (mobile).
- When you cancel, you keep your paid features until the end of the current billing period, then drop to the Free plan. We do not cancel mid-period on your behalf.
Refunds
- If you’re charged in error or something goes wrong, email support@paritales.com within 14 days and we’ll make it right.
- Because comics consume AI generation costs as soon as they’re created, we generally do not refund a billing period in which a meaningful number of comics were generated — but we review every request individually and in good faith.
- Mobile (App Store / Google Play) purchases are subject to those stores’ refund processes; we’ll help where we can.
- Statutory rights (for example EU/UK consumer rights) always apply on top of this policy.
Price changes
If we change subscription prices, we’ll notify you in advance. Changes never apply retroactively to a period you’ve already paid for.
