Terms of Service

Welcome to PariTales. By creating an account or using our service, you agree to these terms. Please read them — we’ve kept them short and clear.

Who can use PariTales

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account. PariTales is meant to be used by adults (parents, guardians, and teachers) who may share the comics they make with children in their care.

Your account

• Keep your sign-in secure and don’t share your account.
• You’re responsible for activity that happens under your account.
• Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized use.

Acceptable use

PariTales is for creating safe, kid-friendly comics. You agree not to:

• Create content that is violent, sexual, hateful, harassing, or otherwise harmful.
• Attempt to bypass our safety filters or age-appropriate protections.
• Infringe anyone’s intellectual property or impersonate real people.
• Misuse, overload, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the service.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules, including to keep the service safe for children.

Content you create

You own the story ideas you provide. Subject to these terms and applicable law, the comics and videos you generate are yours to use for personal and educational purposes. You grant us a limited license to store and process your content only to operate the service (for example, to save it in your library and show it back to you). Because comics are generated by AI, similar prompts may produce similar results for other users, and AI output may contain inaccuracies — please review content before sharing it with children.

Plans, payments, and cancellation

• PariTales offers a free plan and a paid Plus subscription. Free-plan limits (such as monthly comic counts) are shown in the app and may change.
• Web subscriptions are billed through our payment partner, Dodo Payments. In our mobile apps, subscriptions are billed through Apple or Google.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the paid period. Cancel where you subscribed (your settings, or the App Store / Google Play account).
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

Service availability

We work hard to keep PariTales running, but we provide it “as is” without warranties, and we can’t guarantee it will always be available or error-free. AI features depend on third-party providers and may change or be temporarily unavailable.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PariTales is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms or the service over time. If changes are material, we’ll update the date above. You may stop using PariTales at any time, and we may suspend or end access if these terms are violated.
